Some of my heritage may go back to the Queen’s Lancers Division. No wonder I love castles so much!
Some of the interesting notes about Grandpa George is the Brig he gave to Grandpa William to come to Canada with. I guess it cost 420 pounds and William moved to New Brunswick, where he gave birth to Grandpa George in Paradise, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland in the late 1800s, or William’s Brother George could have also had a son named George, but this is my Great, Great, Great Grandpas burial record so I need to save this for my records so I can trace back where the criss-cross on the naming occurred. Since Grandpa George may have not made the Census if he was born on a boat.
