Dear Great Uncle Paul
Lest we forget the battles you and your brothers went through to pave the way for the hardships your kids and nephews had to face, even to this day, in a world that you may never come to terms with. You were a Uncle that I had to chance to get closer to as I aged, and gained confidence to be around cousins wayne, dennis, and valentine, without fearing for my life, or to get a new bag of perogies or beans from aunt mary.
You were one man that I respected for looking after your family the best you could in hardships beyond measure, and a true survivor after having your eye ripped out and battling cancer and hard times, all the while providing and trying to lead by example.
God bless you Great Uncle Paul!
Love,
Rob Chernish (great nephew)
